Nissan launched their new hybrid vehicle 2016 Nissan Leaf not long ago for European market. The car is firstly introduced in the 2015 Frankfurt auto show. But, there is an interesting fact about this hybrid car, which is the range. At the first time, Nissan Leaf was rated in 107 miles range for a 30 kilowatt battery pack. In the last press conference, Nissan claimed that their hybrid is able to range 155 miles. That is a long distance for car fuel efficiency.
Nissan Leaf is hybrid vehicle made by Nissan. It has been shared for European and North American markets. For 2016 model year, this car has two models which are Leaf SV and Leaf SL. Nissan Leaf 2016 model is installed 30-kilowatt battery each, which is same with 1 hour. Nissan provides both gasoline and diesel fuels. It is combined with electric motors installed in this hybrid car. The model of 2016 hybrid car from Nissan is rather same with other hybrid cars.
Nissan Leaf is city car with five seats capacity inside the cabin. The material of the body is made from aluminum with lightweight. It has four doors and in front of this car Nissan logo adhered above the grille. Meanwhile, Nissan uses Led headlight to improve the brightness and reduce the energy use. Electric motor and the battery are installed in back of the vehicle. It seems like small baggage behind the rear seat.
Inside the cabin, identical city car interior will be seen. Some modern features such as functional buttons are decorating the dashboard to make people easy to operate this car. I think different range of Europe’s EPA and USA’s EPA is not the main problem because they have different indicators to make rating of the car. Nissan Leaf range in Europe has 155 miles rating and US has 107 miles rating.
