Refined 2015 Honda CB1100 Deluxe appears in a perfect modern design with some traditional aesthetic touches. It looks so modern, but some classic characteristics of this new CB1100 is fantastically preserved. Sleek body fuel tank, meticulous machine and red exterior color are fitly combined. Excellent frame design adapting the idea of the low center of gravity is applied. Aluminum swing arm makes it easy to handle. This Honda is also not as heavy as what it was rumored before.
The suspension is also average that riders will consider. It is featured with adjustable forks and flexible shocks. For the seasoned riders, this suspension is good enough. But it is found that the suspension is better than the average when the riders are the commuter or those who have occasional long trip. The brake system looks interesting. Honda CB1100 is featured with 4 Nissin caliper with triple disc brakes. Two discs are for the front wheel and the other one is for the rear wheel. The system is linked with ABS system. What a confident braking!
Refinement is presented by the engine. Soft throttle response, excellent torque peaks, great power output and smooth shift issues complete a nice riding. The 1142cc and inline 4 cylinder engine is a wonderful power for any motorcycle. More power can also be afforded by doing some modifications. 87 hp and the 66 lb-ft of torque are produced. The top power is released between the RPM of 5500 and 7000 for the first to fourth gear. But for the fifth and sixth gear, 4000 to 7000 rpm is the biggest power produced.
Quiet exhaust completes this new CB1100 DLX. It is acceptable for a long trip motorcycle. 4-2 exhaust system is offered. However, it does not improve the power, but it weighs more. This motorcycle can be categorized as a smooth one. Not only the exhaust, but also the clutch, throttle response, cycling, gear shifting and the power delivery are all smooth. The more interesting issue is that there are some optional 2015 Honda CB1100 colors available.
